Flights: The nearest airports are Toulon-Hyeres Airport (15km, 20mins), Marseille Airport (120km, c. 1h 40mins) and Nice Airport (155km, c. 2h). Direct flights from London to Marseille and Nice only with British Airways, Easy Jet and Ryanair. There are also connecting flights via Paris to Toulon-Hyeres. We suggest flying in and out of Marseille if travelling from London.

To enjoy the full wedding weekend, we would recommend arriving in France on Friday early afternoon and taking the 9/10pm late evening flight out on Sunday, or Monday if you really want to enjoy the BBQ...

Local area

​

The closest villages to the venue worth visiting are Bormes-Les-Mimosas (10km), Le Lavandou (11km) and Rayol-Canadel-Sur-Mer (23km). You can also venture slightly further to reach St Tropez (43km). Whilst these distances are not far at this time of the year and given the coastline roads we would recommend allowing extra time for travel.

Getting around

​

Car Rental: Renting a car is the best way to enjoy and explore the coastline given distances and taxi prices. Marseille, Nice and Toulon airports all offer car rental (we would recommend household names but not Goldcar, sorry Goldcar). 

 

Taxis: Taxis in the South of France are very expensive and at present, there is no Uber service. We would recommend the following local companies with whom we have managed to secure preferential rates.

Buses: For more information regarding a direct bus from Marseille Airport to Toulon for c. €5 please visit Oui Bus. Please note we have not tried and tested this suggestion.

Trains: Trains are also available from both Nice and Marseille airport to Toulon at Oui.SNCF. Please note we have not tried and tested this suggestion.

Parking

​

Parking is not offered at the venue on Saturday for the reception and ceremony but is welcomed for the Sunday BBQ. We would recommend checking with your hotel / villa if they offer parking. 

​

Shuttles

​

Shuttles to and from the wedding ceremony and reception will be arranged for hotels in Le Lavandou, Bormes-Les-Mimosas and Rayol-Canadel-Sur-Mer.
